Final stages of terminal mesothelioma…?
The patient cannot seem to find anything that works for pain relief except morphine which just makes him sleep. Does anyone know of anything that might make this easier on him?
{{{hugs}}}} I am so sorry you are going thru this. Unfortunately in this situation, Morphine, may be your best option. I suspect you feel that the Morphine causing him to sleep all the time, is robbing you of precious time. However, the goal is what is going to make him most comfortable, and pain free. If you haven’t already…please contact your local Hospice organization, they are a wonderful resource and support for both of you. Good Luck…(prayers to both of you tonight)
